Instore Events Planner - Campaign & Events (POS)
Develop and deliver impactful and integrated in-store POS activation for Campaigns and key customer events in store through POS solutions.
About the role:
As Instore Events Planner you will work in the Instore Customer Journey team to deliver event creative point of sale solutions, for all campaign and major campaigns (Easter, Halloween & Christmas) across the store.
You will possess experience working in retail, ideally with some experience of point of sale. This is a fast paced role that engages with several stakeholders across the business to deliver an exceptional offer to our customers.

You will be:
- Responsible for critical path management across all events supporting the POS Process & Planning team to ensure activity lands right first time. Reporting via the RAG process
- Responsible for consulting the In Store Customer Journey Design team to ensure concept designs are adhered to and kept on brand
- Day to day coaching of a team of one coordinator to support in the execution of all activity
- Working with our agencies to ensure timely feedback is given on creative to keep work on critical path and to budget
- Responsible for creating print briefs for our agencies to ensure the brief is delivered with minimum amends and allocated correctly to stores
- Responsible for analysis of the competitors eventing, building a knowledge bank and supporting autopsy process
- Responsible for managing the sign off process internally to keep all activity legally compliant
- Work closely with Retail Ops to execute the campaign in store with effective communication briefs
- Accountable for the budget for each event and ensuring the most cost efficient way including working with specific finance systems to track spend
- Developing innovation which drives impact and 'we operate for less' for in-store marketing
- Working cross functionally with other marketing teams through attending Project Action Groups and ensuring In Store status is visible for aligned execution across all channels were relevant
- Support the In Store Event Activation Manager with other reasonable requests
- Role model Asda Beliefs and demonstrates cultural awareness
What you'll need:
- Proven track record of creative development and working with and managing agencies
- Project management experience
- Organisation and Critical Path management
- Proven track record of operational and executional excellence
- Proven commercial acumen and budget responsibility
- An understanding of retail and the ability adapt plans and thinking
- Experience of working in a fast paced environment
