Pay Rates

Pay: Circa £26,000 - £27,000 per annum.

Shift Pattern and Contracted Hours

Hours:39

Shifts: Rotating shift pattern including a mixture of days / Nights and weekend working.

Contract: Permanent

Job Description

Our production process runs 24 hour a day, Monday to Friday with our dedicated hygiene team take over to deep clean the equipment to the highest standards ready for its return to production. Your role as the Hygiene Supervisor is to manage the team give guidance advice and provide when necessary more-structured coaching; not to mention a comprehensive understanding of all our food safety, health and safety, hygiene and quality procedures and guidelines.

You will need to be computer competent as you will need to compile reports; order materials develop standard operating procedures in addition to the expected administration.

You will be responsible for driving and implementing food safety and quality procedures, HACCP auditing, customer complaints investigations, testing products and producing reports.

Applicants must have experience in a similar role.  Level 3 Food Safety is essential along with qualification in chemical handling. The work environment has exposure to flour and dust and therefore would not be suitable for individuals who suffer respiratory problems. 

A developed knowledge and understanding of chemical usage in hygiene

Skills

Supervisory or previous line management experience is essential.

Flexible in availability for working hours as you may be required to work different days or hours for business reasons and training.

Basic numeracy and computer skills, e.g. adding, percentages, has used a computer before.
