As part of the Sourcing team you will support the buying and risk strategy for Ingredients at Tesco. You will work across multiple categories to negotiate market leading buy and move plans, implement key projects and support with analysis.

- Understanding cost changes for key raw materials ingredients.
- Building tools to collate market insight and support categories on better buying.
- Data management - data gathering, validation and integration
- Supporting my line manager to deliver Buy For Less in Ingredients
- Analyzing and providing insight for currency risk management
- Negotiating with own label suppliers to build strong strategic partnerships
- Delivering key processes (NPD setup, supply chain and service level)
- Helping to build and maintain cost models
- Ensuring critical paths and RACI are adhered to
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

Strong and proven analytical skills
Buying experience (preferable)
GAP Negotiation training (preferable)
Commercial understanding
Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
A passion for food
