Sales Support Executive

Salary: OTE £40k per annum

Focus: Business Accounts

Location: 1x Birmingham, 1 x London


Our client, a Tier 1 Vendor, is looking to engage the skills of an experienced ‘Floorwalker’ / ‘Influencer’ to promote key products into their Partner base.  This role will challenge your motivation and influencing skills to maximise sales within your designated accounts.  This is a challenging and rewarding role working on behalf of a leading Global IT company.  This role will suit someone with experience in retail environment.

Role Focus

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Become sufficiently conversant with product and services (full training given) to be able to successfully deliver knowledge during floorwalking sessions and at special events to the required standard.
  • Be confident in inspiring the various persons throughout the channel and be viewed as a role model.
  • Maintain excellent industry and competitor knowledge.
  • Be Responsible for calling on designated partners, liaising with all levels of staff to ensure the following:
  • All staff are knowledgeable in our Services & Products through regular briefings.
  • All staff are aware of all Incentives, Competitions and Special Offers.
  • Full advantage is taken of Promotional events and opportunities.
  • Competitor activities are monitored and reported.
  • Needs for specialist Training, Technical or Sales Visit are assessed and arranged with Management in conjunction with the appointed trainer.
  • To provide detailed competitor analysis reports liaising with Managers.
  • Provide communication of technical issues to all, ensuring results are followed through with the Channel.
  • To provide on a weekly basis all paperwork to Line Manager, ensuring it to be clear, concise and informative of the previous week’s involvement.
