Golf Range Assistant - Leeds

We are looking for a Golf Range Assistant to join the Team at Leeds Golf Centre!

You will be responsible for the collection of golf balls, maintaining the machinery and ensuring the driving range is maintained to the highest possible standard.

The Role

• To pick and wash balls as directed and maintain an adequate supply the ball machine.
• To ensure range mats are turned every week, and a range tee is available in all range mats.
• To assist with the placing and recovery of signs on the range, as and when required.
• To ensure that the driving range is litter free and that empty baskets are collected regularly from bays.
• To thoroughly clean clubhouse areas including shop, offices, toilets and changing rooms as directed.
• To carry out repairs on golf target nets, target flags and hedge line nettings.
• To effectively marshal the course at regular intervals to ensure that all visitors have paid to play.            
• Take payment from players or direct back to the clubhouse to pay for play.

Skills

• The role holder must be competent in working in all weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical skills are required however full training will be given.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and act on own initiative when working.
•  Excellent communication skills are required and a courteous approach is required at all times towards colleagues, visitors and members.

This position is for 32 – 40 hours a week with variable shifts including weekends and evenings.
