Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for a Retail Advisor to join the Pippin team on a full-time basis.

You will play an integral part of the retail team, being the first point of call for all golfers & Guests of the Hotel. This is a role that requires an individual with creative flair as some duties will include visual merchandising, making hampers and coordinating shop displays.

We are looking to recruit somebody to play an integral part of the retail team. This will include driving sales, operational standards and processes as well as day-to-day administration, member liaison and the general hands-on working of a busy and important department.

The right applicant would need to be confident with customers both in-person and on the phone.

Duties are varied and include working the till, serving customers, answering email enquiries, retail sales and other sales activities including manning halfway huts on each golf course.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• stock replenishment
• hamper making
• visual merchandising
• food quality control
• advising customers on the latest golf fashion
• selling high-quality golf goods and handling cash through the till system
• computer literate
• Ensure the shop is clean and tidy.

Qualifications or desired skills

Previous sales experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of Golf is desired but not required.
