About the Pets at Home Group

Based in beautiful offices next to the Retail Outlet and Steam Museum in Swindon, the Pets at Home Vet Group has been built on the principle of clinical freedom for our Joint Venture Partners (JVPs) and we are committed to supporting practices to build a culture of clinical excellence. The JVPs are the clinical leaders of our Joint Venture practices and are responsible for delivering an exceptional standard of care to our clients and patients.

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for an Immigration People Assistant to join our growing team. Whilst the role will be remote working, you will be required to travel to the office twice a week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to broaden your knowledge on the UK visas and to provide an excellent support for candidates, colleagues and recruiting team.

Day to day you’ll be involved in the complete administration of all visa applications, monitoring verification of right to work documentation and ensuring candidates have all the employment information and documentation they need to successfully apply for their visa. You will also be liaising with candidates, colleagues and recruiting managers daily as well as answering any Immigration queries either on emails or phone.

Our diversity and inclusion vision is that everyone is welcome and feels part of our group. If you think you’re a good match to what we are looking for, and you share our belief that together ‘we’re better with pets’, we’d like to hear from you, whatever your background or circumstances.

About you

If you’re looking for an opportunity to learn a new system and gain exposure to a large organisation, then this could be the role you’ve been searching for. As you’ll be the main administration support for immigration queries, accuracy and adaptability to learn new skills, systems and procedures is important. This role will entail you talking on the phone, so you must be confident and have strong communication skills along with the ability to be a key team player and build working relationships quickly and effectively. Previous experience using Microsoft Package is essential.

Experience in working within Immigration environment and HR systems would be an advantage but it’s not essential as full training will be provided.
