JOB PURPOSE:                           To maximise all GC&E KPI’s through driving the commercial GC&E strategy of multiple hotels within the London Cluster; working closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between on property commercial teams and the London Cluster

KEY PERFORMANCE INDEXES:

Driving GC&E Commercial Performance:

      • GC&E revenue performance for each hotel represented within the Cluster
      • GC&E conversion performance for each hotel represented within the Cluster
      • Future Base target
  • Ensure consistent and clear communication between on property commercial team and London Cluster
  • Ensure alignment of all stakeholders on commercial strategy
  • Ensure that sales and pricing strategies are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting
  • Ensure professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Ensure effective information gathering and analysis is conducted in order to identify and maximise on all possible opportunities and minimise any risks
  • Ensure that relevant commercial team members (on property & within the London Custer) are actively engaged in all GC&E strategic decisions by maintaining regular communication to effectively implement, drive and review optimal GC&E strategies and controls
  • Integrate with other functions to ensure we exceed our stakeholder’s expectations
  • Ownership of Demand Calendar ensuring relevant and up-to-date pricing strategy as agreed with hotel commercial team
  • Analysis and Reporting: Prepares reporting and provides critical analysis to support commercial decisions regarding GC&E strategies
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepares all weekly and monthly C&E forecasts and supports with yearly budgets as appropriate using standard systems and tools
  • Quote rates independently, only if over threshold that the DBD’s approval is required
KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Practical working experience within GC&E or commercial function
  • Competent at Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong competencies in Leadership, Planning and Organising, Communication and Influencing
  • Commercial attitude and proactive sales approach
  • Clear voice & well spoken
  • Ability to analyse data and identify trends
  • Competitive and motivated
