Golf Sales Executive - Alexandria

At the heart of Cameron House Resort sits our 136-bedroom luxury five-star hotel and leisure club. Located on the South West Shores of Loch Lomond and set in picturesque surroundings, this stunning Scottish Baronial Mansion is also surrounded by an array of one to four bedroom self-catering Luxury Lodges to give our guests a variety of accommodation to suit the occasion.

Just a few minutes from the Hotel sits our Marina including our own 42ft luxury cruiser the Celtic Warrior as well as the Wee Demon Golf Course and Boathouse Restaurant. Situated 2.5 miles along the road our Resort continues with our world class Carrick Spa, surrounded by luxury lodges and our Championship Carrick Golf Course.

Vacancy: Golf Sales Executive

£17,000 p/a  40 hours per week

Shift pattern will generally be Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

(Subject to change in line with business needs)

Our fantastic range of Golf offerings here at Cameron House Resort include our Championship Carrick Golf Course, Golf Shop and Golf Academy as well as our 9 hole Wee Demon Golf Course based alongside the Main Hotel.    

Reporting to the Group Golf Sales Manager- you will help drive group golf bookings at the Carrick whilst  delivering standards that befit our 5 star standing. You will be responsible for ensuring all golf events run smoothly and link up with the hotel or other hotel based outlets. As Golf Sales Executive your main duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to);

  • Booking in all corporate and society golf days
  • Generating new golf day leads and converting
  • Creating business sheets for golf days ensuring all relevant info is noted
  • Marketing of golf days; including via social media
  • Building new contacts and attending networking days
  • Targeting new business
  • Liaising with the ops team to ensure golf days receive a 5 star experience when on the resort
  • Managing the booking system and Reporting

Skills/ Experience required

  • To have a great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
  • To be smart and well presented
  • Good standard of numeracy, literacy and IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A background in golf sales with an established contacts base would be advantageous
  • Work well in a team environment
