What's in store?

As our Payroll Administrator you will be processing the fortnightly and monthly payrolls working with the Bureau, and to provide administrative support to the People Team including HR and payroll. What are the key responsibilities?

  • To process the monthly and fortnightly payroll and understand payroll duties, responding to payroll queries.
  • To prepare and process advance payments as and when required
  • To generate incentive pay reports and process payments monthly
  • To manage payroll trackers and regularly report on costings
  • To generate and issue the payroll reports by pay basis
  •  To process information requests and data received from external bodies and sources
  • To manage the Proof of Right to Work process for new starters and update toolkits
  • To collate relevant information for P11D and P60 processing
  • To provide reports on absence as and when required and issue SSP1 forms
  • To carry out the monthly reconciliation of tax and N.I.
  • To carry out system administration on the payroll and HR system
  •  To issue family friendly documentation such as maternity and paternity letters
  • To respond to a variety of queries and running reports as and when requested
  • To support with the National Minimum and Living Wage process, including communications for centres and system updates
  • To support with the annual and quarterly pay review and bonus, including mail merge for letters and reward statements
  • To issue TIC letters and update the payroll and HR system
  •  Ad hoc projects as and when required such as supporting recruitment for new openings
  • To support with ER cases when required, taking notes in disciplinary and grievance meetings
  • To complete any other task as reasonably requested
